ProSoul Game is pleased to present the Prerelease for the next Magic: the Gathering expansion; Foundations!

Foundations is a new type of set designed to carry through multiple Standard rotations. It contains mechanically unique card designs as well as "less-complex, clean and elegant" reprints, functioning similarly to an "evergreen Core Set. Unlike other Standard-legal sets, cards in Foundations will remain legal in Standard until 2029, at least. Foundations is intended to be reprinted and released annually over that period

 

At a prerelease event, players will get a chance to play with these newest Magic cards.

WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE BASICS, THE GAUNTLET IS BACK! These means that many events have been cut from prerelease. So, please read closely as you plan your Prerelease endeavors at ProSoul Games.

 Player led pods. Incentivized by colored chips. Upon sign-up, get 3 chips of different colors. Play Commander using only precons from March of the Machines. Through the course of play, and ONLY the course of play acquire chips from other players. Pod size, pod formation, chip disbursement, etc. to be decided by the players.

Punch Cards
In seasons past, access to the Prerelease playmat, VIP status, and invite to the VIP event have been based on the number of events that a person signed up for. That had to change. Now, each in-store event you play in will get you punches on a punch card. Get 5 punches and get the playmat pictured below. Get 10 punches and you are invited to the VIP event described below. Scheduled Events get you 2 punches. On-Demand Events get you 1 punch. At-home events do not receive punches.

The first 15 players to get 5 punches will receive a specific playmat for the set.

VIP Event
Players that get 10 punches are invited to a special VIP event. This event is Friday November 15 @6:00pm. This event is Sealed. Prizes for this event are top heavy. The prizes for this event are a box of Set Boosters to first place and a Golden ticket which will get you a free entry into ProCon Jan 4th 2025.

Leftover Chips from On-Demand Events
It is the players' responsibilities to find the player with the matching colored chip in order to play their matches for on-demand events.
In the event that you were unable to find your opponent, you and your opponent were not able to play, or any other reason you were not able to play, each chip can be turned in for 2 ProPoints each AFTER November 15th but before November 23rd.
