You are enjoying a rare, quiet evening at the inn in Bree when a hunter joins your table to share a tale about a dark threat looming over the North Downs. However, you are not merely simple guests at The Prancing Pony — you are members of a Company. It is your self-appointed duty to inquire about the bone-chilling dangers that might emerge from the houseless hills beyond. Are you ready to take the road to adventure?
The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying 5E Starter Set combines the world’s most known and beloved fantasy setting with the world’s leading roleplaying game system in a visually stunning, easy to use and yet inexpensive package. This beginner-friendly starter set provides all you need to embark on your journeys in Middle-earth, with streamlined rules and pre-generated characters that make it easy to begin playing right away.
This boxed set contains:
- Condensed 5E rules for action resolution, combat, councils and journeys.
- The complete adventure Over Hill and Under Hill, bringing the heroes deep into the wild lands of northern Eriador to face a dark threat.
- A large full-colour map of Eriador, with a combat diagram on the back.
- Beautifully illustrated cardboard stand-up figures for Player-heroes and Adversaries.
- Five pre-generated and illustrated Player-heroes.
- A full set of transparent polyhedral dice, including two d20s engraved with the Rune of Gandalf and the Eye of Sauron.
Returns
Our refund policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
- Any item sold used
- Gift cards
- Foods and Drinks
- Any Trading Card Game materials, (IE. Pokemon, Magic: the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc)
- Event entries (Entries on events without attendance limitations may be returned for store credit, but only until 2 hours before the event starts)
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please, do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
In-store Refunds (if applicable)
In-store purchases require an in-store return.
Once you bring in your return we will inspect it.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed.
All returns will be made in the same tender used for purchase. If you used a debit or credit card for purchase, then you will need to have it present for the return.
All qualified returns are welcome to opt for store credit instead of cash or debit/credit repayment.
Online Refunds (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
If you fail to pick up a purchased and held item within 45 days the item and product will be forfiet.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Not responsible for damage
We do not replace items if they are defective or damaged.
